While the picture book market is saturated with stories that entertain, there are very few books that combine storytelling with speech-sound practice in a developmentally appropriate, research-informed way. Therapists and caregivers have to turn to speech materials that are either not engaging, like clinical worksheets, or do not emphasize speech sound production, leading to stagnation in progress.
